  • This is a trailer from one of my favorite films, starring one of my favorite actresses of all time - “The Wind” starring Lillian Gish.  The Wind is a fantastic silent film about a woman driven mad by her environment.  Lillian Gish, the famously subtle-yet-compelling silent film star is amazing in the lead role.  The film adaptation of the novel has a disappointing but expected Hollywood happy ending.  The novel’s ending is better, much more depressing, and a hell of a lot more satisfying in my opinion.

Here is a still from the film, with Ms. Gish looking super crazy.  She looks like me in the morning without coffee.

    Good Morning, Lillian! Cuppa Joe?
